Activities: The
center caters to various needs of the Hindu community in Richmond. It has a permanent priest and daily
religious activities (poojas) are held at:

In addition, there
are special religious functions on selected Hindu festivals. Families can
sponsor the Sunday Pooja for havan
and other worships.
Private Poojas
Poojas can be conducted on request either at your home or at the temple (please refer temple rental rates for private poojas). Please call the Religious Director Rama Jadhav at 754-2138, Pt Kanan or Pt. Rajgopal at 346-9954.
Poojas include but are not limited to: Havan,
Ganpathi Homam, Griha Shanti, Punyaahavaachanam,
Sashtiaddapoothy, Sataabhishekam,
Tarpanam, Vahana Pooja, Funeral rites, Navagraha homam, Maha Sathyanarayana
Pooja, Griha Pravesam, Upanayanam, Vidyaarambam, Mruthunjaya Homam, Bhoomi Pooja,
Naamakaranam, Seemantham, Shraardham, Annaprasnam, Vivaaham.
Classes for
Children
The center provides special classes for young children where they can learn and discuss about Hinduism and other topics. Please contact Geeta Ravindra our Education Director at 716-2812
Library
Library is open Sundays 1 - 2 PM all through the
year.
Library use is free of charge for members. Non-members charge is $25 per family per year. Library has a good collection of books for children, youth and adults on various topics related to India, Hindu religion and Culture.
